Homecoming Endowment

In 1911, when Chester Brewer invited alumni to come home for the Missouri-Kansas football game, he couldn’t have envisioned it would become Mizzou’s hallmark tradition. The first call to “come home” drew a crowd of 9,000-plus — and it’s grown ever since.

Thanks to the enthusiastic support of Tiger fans around the world, Mizzou has consistently been recognized as having one of the largest, oldest and best celebrations in the nation. Support of the Homecoming Endowment helps ensure rising costs do not diminish our annual celebration and that future generations of Tigers will experience our beloved traditions set in motion so many years ago.

First. Finest. Forever.

For more than a century, the Mizzou Alumni Association has presented the first and finest Homecoming celebration in the nation. The Homecoming Endowment campaign calls upon alumni and friends to support our timeless tradition and the student leadership opportunities it creates. As costs continue to rise, it's imperative that our students have access to financial support as they work to put on the finest Homecoming in the nation. Establishing an endowed fund of at least $1M will allow us offset student costs associated with Homecoming event participation.

Your investment will support Mizzou's hallmark tradition, preserve student leadership opportunities and that future generations of Tigers will get to enjoy the same experiences as those who have gone before them.
