Since 1996 Jill has been an active leader on the Valley of the Sun Chapter Board. For many alumni in Phoenix , Arizona , Jill Waldrop's name is synonymous with Mizzou!

Having served locally in almost every leadership role on the chapter board, Jill manages several major projects as well. On a regular basis, she hosts or co-hosts watch parties and rallies alumni to serve meals at St. Vincent de Paul several times a year.

Jill is Mizzou's representative on the Big 12 Alumni board, spearheading the annual picnic each fall. Jill attends monthly meetings along with other volunteers to develop the picnic's agenda and carry out the event. At the picnic, she continues as an active leader for Mizzou alumni, greeting them and making sure each guests understands where events will be held and how to participate.

Jill was the driving force behind the chapter adopting a class of students at Tertulia Charter School . Volunteers serve as mentors to the students, participate in class projects and assist a group of 7 th graders who come to Mizzou to explore what college is like. Jill Waldrop is their personal chaperone, setting up the 3-day agenda, arranging for meals, a visit with the Chancellor and several campus activities.
