Although Bob Barrett graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia
in 1949, he continues to give back to MU today. In recognition of his
commitment to the University, the Mizzou Alumni Association recently presented
him with a Tiger Pride Award.

sustained volunteer service to the University. Barrett, a re-insurance
supervisor for Farm Mutuals of Missouri, is a member and past president
of the Adair County Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association. He also is a
member of the board of directors of the Mizzou Alumni Association and has served
on the Executive Committee of the Association's National Board of Directors.
In addition to his service to MU, he is involved in his community.
Barrett is a member of the board of directors of the Twin Pines Adult
Care Center. He also is on the board of directors of the Masonic Home of
Missouri and Kirksville Senior Housing. Barrett has served on the Administrative
Board of First United Methodist Church and is a long-time Sunday school
