Student Programs
The Mizzou Alumni Association hosts many events for MU students each year. Students may be contacted by alumni "Tiger Trackers" while in high school to encourage their enrollment at Mizzou. The alumni association hosts a Tiger Walk each August to welcome incoming freshmen and congratulates graduating students with the Senior Send-Off each May.
The association also offers many opportunities throughout the year for students to participate in events sponsored by or supported by the association. By involving students as "alumni in residence," the alumni association helps lay the foundation for maintaining lifelong connections to the University.
Alumni Association Student Board (AASB)
The Student Board is a diverse, enthusiastic group of 50 students whose primary objective is to strengthen the University through student-alumni relationships. AASB members attend alumni events, conduct an annual membership drive, help coordinate events for student members of the association and provide the perspective of "alumni in residence." Members are chosen every winter semester through an application and interview process.
Alumni Scholars Program
To help top-quality students attend MU, the association awards two at-large scholarships, one international scholarship, and one scholarship on behalf of each chartered alumni chapter and school/college alumni organization.
Homecoming Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is a group of talented and dedicated students who annually organize the greatest Homecoming in the nation. Selection is conducted in the winter semester and is highly-competitive. Approximately 33 students are selected each year to comprise the Homecoming Steering Committee, with three directors selected from the previous year's committee membership. The board is further divided into committees that oversee all aspects of the Homecoming celebration: Blood Drive Committee coordinates the world's largest blood drive.
- Multicultural Extravaganza Organizes the Multicultural Extravaganza talent competition and Art Show.
- Campus Decorations Coordinates the Campus displays in Greektown and the banners and office decorations throughout campus.
- Campus & Community Relations The public relations arm of Steering Committee, responsible for community outreach and Liaison meetings.
- Royalty Committee Organizes the interviewing, voting and events for the Homecoming King and Queen competition.
- Parade Committee Responsible for all aspects of one of the largest parades in the nation.
- Advertising Committee Develops and designs advertising for Homecoming.
- Events Committee Responsible for the Homecoming Tailgate Rally and other events to increase spirit throughout the student and alumni population.

MBNA Sponsored Programs
Every year, MBNA, the association's affinity credit card provider awards two scholarships to student members of the association, who have proven themselves in academics and leadership. A summer internship and on-campus internship are awarded to a top-quality student to help promote joint programs of MBNA and the alumni association. MBNA also periodically sponsors educational programs for students, such as "Managing your Money."
Senior Send-Off
Held every May at the Reynolds Alumni Center, it is the official celebration for new graduates. This free event is sponsored by the alumni association and coordinated by the Alumni Association Student Board (AASB). The event includes music, drinks and food.
Student Membership
Current students are invited to join the alumni association at half the regular annual dues. As association members, they receive all of the membership benefits that alumni members enjoy, including invitations to local chapter and school/college organization activities, to get a head start on networking opportunities.
Tiger Walk
Tiger Walk is the official entry into the University for all incoming students. Held the night before the start of classes, new students gather on the north side of the Columns on Francis Quadrangle to hear a welcome by the alumni association president and key campus administrators. The students then walk through the Columns toward Jesse Hall to symbolize their entry into the University. The students are then served Tiger Stripe ice cream by faculty and staff while the band plays the songs of Mizzou. Upon graduation, these students will walk back through the columns, towards downtown Columbia, to symbolize their entrance into the "real world".
