As a new freshman in 1960, I was walking around campus, the quadrangle, my first day, educating myself as to where my classes would be, not looking where I was going and literally ran into two football players, Norris Stevenson and Mel Gray. I apologized for my freshman mistake and they just smiled. What great players and gentlemen they were.
