Thank you for inquiring about the endowed life membership option. Endowed life membership is a permanent membership, designed to provide continuous benefits and special options to life members.
As an endowed life member, you would be presented with a lapel pin, window decal and 4-color art-print certificate to display your lifetime commitment to MU. These items would celebrate your completed life membership payment.
For life, you are entitled to all benefits provided to MAA members. These include an annual calendar, local chapter and school/college alumni organization membership, reunions, pep rallies and many other alumni activities. With your membership card, you'll get discounts on goods and services from a growing number of mid-Missouri and national businesses.
Based on advice of our counsel, we believe that 75 percent of your endowed life membership dues are deductible for federal income tax purposes. You should consult your personal tax advisor concerning the deduction that you may claim for dues payments made to the Association.
Special Loyalty Offer:
If you have been an annual member of the association for five years or more, you can take advantage of a special discounted rate and join for life. The special rate is $800 for an individual or $1,200 for a dual membership. There is a four-year installment plan available for each. These options are available on the online membership form.
