Most electronic resources provided through the University of Missouri and affiliated institutions are protected by copyright and subject to a variety of restrictions on access and use. Common restrictions include prohibitions on non-academic use and limits on downloading and printing an excessive portion of any database or publication. Users should always consult the terms governing use (often referred to as “Terms and Conditions” or “Conditions of Use”) on the home page of a resource to inform themselves of restrictions and assure their use complies with copyright and contractual restrictions.
