Mizzou Legacy Walk
As part of the alumni association's 150th celebration during Homecoming Weekend 2007 the walkway leading up to the Reynolds Alumni Center was dedicated as the Mizzou Legacy Walk.
Homecoming 2012 marks the completion of the walkway which features 2,576 bricks donated by alumni and Tiger fans.
You are invited to celebrate this milestone on Friday, October 26th. Donors and visitors are encouraged to visit the Mizzou Legacy Walk and search for their bricks and/or bricks of classmates, peers and professors. Free commemorative stone coasters will be available to the first 175 brick donors beginning at 8 am. From 2-5 pm refreshments will be served and a photographer will be available to take photos of donors who visit the walkway.
Net proceeds from the Mizzou Legacy Walk support student scholarships. To date donations and earnings have topped $1,069,000. “The goal was to fill up the walkway within 4-6 years and we are proud of the generous support shown by Mizzou alumni, fans and friends,” says David Roloff, director of membership and marketing for the alumni association.
A portion of the proceeds will be used to install, maintain, and improve the Mizzou Legacy Walk.
