Alumni Travel Testimonials

Tourin' Tiger logoWe had a wonderful trip to South America and thoroughly enjoyed the Galapagos, the Andes, Cusco and Machu Picchu. It was a very well organized trip led by a nice young man, Mike Jensen, who set a great tone for the whole trip.

There were alumni from Florida State, Fordham, University of Iowa, Michigan State and Tulane, but the Missouri group were the only ones with a party with decorations! It really added to the festivities and was a great ad for Mizzou. The Missouri group was delightful. Fred and June Fangmann from St. Louis were very compatible. Fred graduated from the Business school, was a very successful banker who is on the Board of Directors of a number of companies. He remains active in his fraternity alumni.

Thanks for your help and preparation for the trip,
Judy and Don Miles

The Tuscany/Cortona tour of Italy was everything that we had hoped it would be and more. The area, food and people were absolutely incredible.

We have just returned from the first ever trip to the Adriatic Riviera with AHI.  We were the first American group to ever stay in the Hotel Tartini. They were very anxious to make us comfortable. Slovenia and Croatia have friendly people, many historic places to visit , excellent food and wine and a beautiful varied landscape. I would go back in a minute!!  We toured all over Slovenia and along the coast of Croatia and to the beautiful city of Venice. We were lucky to have an excellent tour director, Rado Zibrik, who was anxious to show us the beauty of his native land, Slovenia. All in all a wonderful experience was had by our entire MU group!

I am attaching a photo of our MU group one night at dinner in the Hotel Tartini, Piran, Slovenia. From left to right we are Joyce Otten, Judy Miller Isely, Dick Isely, Carol Heggarty Ferguson and Jim Ferguson.

Can't wait to go on another trip with MU!

Enclosed are photographs on the Tourin’ Tigers trip to Egypt and Jordan. The photographs have Becky Cook, John Cook and me in them. The ones inside is the sun boat that was found in Ramses’ tomb. The one of the camel is Becky Cook with me standing beside her, both of us in headdress. There is also one of me on the camel.

Great trip, I plan to do more of them.
