Best tips to share…
1. ALWAYS include your daily itinerary and contact information inside a checked bag. It should be the last thing that goes in on top of your clothes, just under one of the interior straps. If your bag gets lost, the luggage tag or airline flight tags gets torn off, the airline will be able to identify you as the owner of the bag and hopefully get it to you as soon as possible.

2. Before leaving the country call your credit card company to let them know you will be out of the country, give them the dates, countries, etc. so they can make a note on your record. This will prevent a possible hold on your card when you are making a purchase in a foreign country. On that same note, let your bank know too, in case you will be using your ATM card overseas for cash withdrawals.

3. Always bring a photocopy or two of your passport with you in case your passport is lost. Having a copy will greatly speed up getting a replacement. Keep those in a different location than your real passport. Many times hotels, ships, etc. will have a safe in the room where you can leave items that you don’t want to carry around every day.

Have a safe and happy trip!
