MAA Launches Legacy Program
The Mizzou Alumni Association hosted the first annual True Sons and Daughters Legacy Reception on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Legacy families with multiple generations of Mizzou alumni gathered for a brunch reception to celebrate their Mizzou tradition.
Dr. Rich Oliver, Dean of School of Health Professions and a Mizzou alumnus with a
legacy family of his own, shared his Mizzou experience.
Brian Rorie (BS Acc ’84) and Alex Rorie (Class of ’15) spoke about their six-generation Mizzou family and led other legacy attendees in a pinning ceremony in which students and alumni parents presented each other with special Mizzou Legacy lapel pins.
The reception was a special way to celebrate great Mizzou Legacy Families!
