Mizzou Ring Award Program
Thank you to those who nominated a student for the award
award recipients will receive an official Mizzou Ring presented by the
Mizzou Alumni Association and Balfour Ring Company.

Students will have completed 60 hours of coursework by the end of the Fall 2011 semester and have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. He or she will also display extraordinary behaviors exemplifying the University Values Statement in one of the following categories: Respect, Responsibility, Discovery or Excellence.
Students nominated in this category will demonstrate a commitment to act ethically, to welcome difference and to engage in the open exchange about ideas and decisions. Respect for one’s self and for others is the foundation of honor and the basis of integrity.
These nominees will demonstrate careful reflection as to their personal, campus and/or civic obligations. Responsibility is displayed by the thoughtful stewardship of resources, by accountability to others and by understanding that decision making and actions have important consequences on our campus and in the community at large.
Students nominated will demonstrate a desire to seek greater understanding and wisdom in addition to a determination to participate in lifelong learning.
These nominees will demonstrate a commitment to excellence that is approached through diligent effort, both individual and collective.
