Jonathan Curtright, BS BA '91, MHA '96, MBA '98,
2005 Mizzou G.O.L.D.

Jonathan Curtright has been the driving force to change the free-standing Health Management and Informatics Alumni Organization into a chartered organization of the Mizzou Alumni Association. He served as president of the organization for two years, providing leadership in developing programs for HMI students as well as for the alumni association.

During his term as president Jonathan worked to recruit an active alumni board of directors and develop bylaws that would work for the organization and with the association. His tireless, sensitive efforts made this transition virtually seamless to the group's membership. In addition to this leadership role, Jonathan also recognized the importance of working with students to develop their professionalism and their lifelong relationship with Mizzou.

In that regard, he developed a mentor program for entering master's students that matched students with alumni professionals. To achieve this process, he made himself available at several student programs to share “real world” advice and to demonstrate what it means to be a successful alumni member and University representative.
