2004 Mizzou G.O.L.D. Award
Rachel Greene, BA ’97, Political Science, of St. Louis, Missouri
From
Roaring Reunion Committee to president of MU’s largest alumni chapter,
Rachel Greene has been an active leader for Mizzou over the past seven years.
In addition to leadership, Rachel has attended and supported numerous alumni
events in St. Louis as well as in Columbia and chapter areas where she has
visited.
As the president elect and legislative chair for the St. Louis Chapter, Rachel
has held her own with the media, during a time of controversy. She is knowledgeable
and current on legislation that affects the University and readily promotes
issues of importance to MU.
In addition to leading the St. Louis Alumni Chapter, Rachel also finds time
to attend many athletic events. She helped the chapter build a strong relationship
with the St. Louis Tiger Club. Her goal-oriented style of leadership has helped
the St. Louis board develop a strong sense of teamwork.
Rachel has also participated as
a volunteer for the American Heart Association, and finds time to volunteer
service for her sorority, Alpha Phi. Rachel Greene’s
leadership combines pragmatic style with a passion for service.
