1997 Mizzou G.O.L.D. Award

Lori Weiss

Lori Weiss received her BS in Accountancy from MU in 1990 and is currently working as an accountant manager for Missouri Baptist Barnes/Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Since graduation, Lori has been active in the life of Mizzou as a leader of the St. Louis Alumni Chapter, the Mizzou Tiger Club of St. Louis and the Mizzou Alumni Association. Her generosity of time extends through her work also. As an employee of Ernst and Young Accounting firm, Lori has recruited and hired more than 20 MU alumni and coordinated donations for the Ernst & Young Professorship at Mizzou.

During her leadership of the St. Louis Alumni Chapter, Lori created a leadership luncheon for St. Louis area alumni leaders to facilitate organizations working together in support of MU. In addition, she leads by example, being a regular donor to MU, sporting MU license plates, attending every alumni event in St. Louis, and speaking on behalf of the University.
