G.O.L.D. stands for graduate of the last decade, and Jim Maher is - TWICE! He received a BS in Agriculture in 1988 and his law degree in 1991, both from MU! Currently he is responsible for the training and education of investment representatives for Edward Jones regarding trusts, taxes and estate planning matters.
Since his last graduation, Jim has remained active in the life of Mizzou as a member and leader of the St. Louis Alumni Chapter and as a member of both the Law School Reunion Committee and the Ag Alumni Board. He has been especially helpful in student recruitment, and nationally he serves as a member of the Association's Finance Committee.
Last year as chairman of the St. Louis Chapter's Development Committee, Jim was the organizer and driving force behind the first annual Mizzou Symphony Fantastique. Enthusiasm and new ideas are the hallmarks of his volunteerism.
