2008 Alumni Scholars Program – Entering Freshmen
Graham Scholars & Chapter Scholars
More than 40 students are currently being recognized as Graham Scholars and supported with four-year renewable awards of $1,000 per year. These awards are made possible by Robert A. ‘Red’ Graham who’s career in entertainment and professional athletics, coupled with his love of Mizzou led him to create an endowment that provides the funds for these scholarships.
In addition, dozens of other scholarships are provided by regional chapters of the alumni association. Chapters all across the country review applications and interview local students. These chapter scholarships are made possible through the allocation of membership dues and the local fundraising efforts of individual chapters.
The application and criteria for all incoming freshman (and freshman transfer) scholarships awarded by the alumni association is the same and must received in the Alumni office by Feb. 1, 2008 to be considered.
